We adhere to the greenCore high-level approach, which defines the questions that should be continually asked of each change during the course of each client engagement, that ensures business justification remains positive and the correct outcome for the organisation is achieved.
The genesis of all deliberate change typically is founded on resolving a problem or leveraging an opportunity. A valuable inception tool that is often overlooked is to ensure that these characteristics are defined so success criteria can be mapped tracked and measured.
Once you understand “the why”, the starting point of any change should always be to understand the objective or “the what”. Without understanding an expected result, output or benefit, it is difficult to deliver a change that provides a positive outcome. Similarly, a good understanding of the change benefit is of little value if:
- the wrong things are being performed to achieve it; or
- if they are not being performed correctly or efficiently; or
- they are not being performed well; or
- if the benefits can no longer be achieved.
As such, greenCore observes and recommends a recurrent process of asking these questions during any change engagement.
